- Lori Nix does wonderful dioramas and photographs them. This composition of a tree in a library is my favourite.
- Vivian Maier - Chicago nanny discovered to be a master street photographer. There's a fascinating video about the discovery of her photo's here. What's instructive about this is that: over time, the value of photography tends to increase; and by taking a lot of pictures, Vivian inevitably gave herself the opportunity to continue improving.
